Bottle, jar and pharma carton sizing (stop the rattle)

Size bottle, jar and pharma cartons to the diameter and overall height including the cap — choose a reverse-tuck sleeve or snug cube with almost no play, pad multi-packs so glass cannot kiss, and step up to 5-ply or an outer shipper when the lane is rough.

Measure what actually ships

Include spray pumps, droppers and shoulder labels. Two bottles that share a label height can need different cartons if one cap is taller. Write diameter × height in inches; then open folding-carton and bottle-box listings that match.

Sleeve vs cube

Reverse-tuck sleeves (for example 3 × 3 × 11 inch class) win on volumetric for single tall bottles. Cubes win for jars and squat honey/ghee packs. Multi-bottle packs (for example 8 × 3 × 12) need dividers or wrapped contact prevention.

Rattle test

Shake the closed sample next to your ear. Any knock you hear will be worse after 800 km. Fix with a tighter die, a wrap, or a corrugated U-pad before you buy 500 printed pieces. For liquids, assume one leak ruins a tote — tape seams and bag on monsoon lanes.

GST / HSN note

Secondary cartons are still typically HSN 4819 when they are corrugated/paperboard cases. The primary bottle may be a different supply — this guide is about the outer pack you buy from PackWorks. Confirm mixed invoices with your CA when you ship kits.
